This STORYBOARD is a freeway panic attack dressed in Vegas neon and turned into a burnout comedy before it could become a trauma shrine. What starts as a blown tire and a near miss with a semi becomes a whole little gospel about how fast life can flip from routine to chaos, and how sometimes survival looks ridiculous on the way home. gabro walks out of danger in a white undershirt, carrying a gym bag and a bruised nervous system through the Bellagio like some exhausted glam ghost who refuses to fall apart in public. Under the jokes about missed tips, quiet Ubers, bong rips, and Fortnite, the real heart of the piece is about choosing to turn disaster into story instead of letting it harden into fear. It is broke, rattled, alive, and still making art out of the mess.

🎰 The Drop: This STORYBOARD had to be written because some nights Vegas does not flirt, she lunges. A blown tire on the freeway, a missed shift, and that ugly little math of survival versus paycheck created the perfect storm of fear, frustration, and dark humor. The piece exists because sometimes the only revenge against chaos is to make it entertaining.
♠️ The Vibe: Neon freeway noir. Adrenaline, tire smoke, casino glow, and that surreal post-crisis strut through the Bellagio when you are still in one piece but your spirit is blinking like a hazard light. It feels funny, rattled, feral, and weirdly triumphant, like a breakdown in lip gloss and gym shoes.
♦️ House Rules: When life blows out at 70 miles an hour, do not waste your energy pretending it did not scare you. Get safe. Get home. Feel the panic, then turn it into something useful, a laugh, a lesson, a story, a boundary. Surviving the chaos counts, even when it costs you money.

It was 2:30 a.m., I was minding my own business on the 15, cruising toward work with a gym bag full of dirty socks and casino secrets, when my tire exploded like a shotgun in a tunnel. One second I’m vibing to my playlist, the next second I’m in a NASCAR death match with a semi-truck that thinks the speed limit is a rumor.

I swear I saw my whole life flash in neon. Roulette wheels. Cheap tequila. Bad decisions. The truck missed me by inches, and all I could think was, “Really, Vegas? I’m just trying to get to work, not audition for Final Destination 7.”

Picture this: 3 a.m., white undershirt, black pants, black shoes, gym bag slung like a prize. I probably looked like a sexy kitchen worker clocking out after a double.

People stared. They always stare. I smiled back, because smiling is cheaper than therapy, and one girl couldn’t take her eyes off me even while holding her boyfriend’s hand. I thought, “Honey, if you only knew.” He had no idea. None of them did. And that’s fine. Keep walking. Smile. Chaos wrapped in charm.

The Uber home was quiet. Thirty-two dollars, plus a fat tip because the driver didn’t ask me to explain my life. Sometimes silence is worth money. I sat there replaying the near-death moment, doing the math of how broke I already am and how much broker this shit just made me.

Vegas chews you like gum. Sweet at first, then bitter, then stuck under your shoe.

By the time I got home, I knew the night was over. Work missed, paycheck lighter, heart heavier. But I wasn’t done. Not yet. I sparked a bowl, booted up Fortnite, and turned the disaster into content. Because if life is going to throw me tire shrapnel at 70 mph, I’ll throw back laughter, weed, and blog posts.

Sometimes the meltdown is the message. Sometimes the chaos is the point. And sometimes, when the freeway nearly flattens you, the universe is just telling you to go home, get high, and kill a couple twelve-year-olds in Fortnite while writing your next viral confession.

Fuck it. I guess this night was meant to happen…
